I had heard some good things about the HBO show Eastbound and Down so I got the first disc from season one from Netflix yesterday and watched the first three episodes last night. While it has some funny moments, I found the guy to be annoying and without any redeemable quality. Overall the show was just pretty boring. Does it get better after the first 3 episodes or should I give up on it?

There are some parts that really made me laugh. When he is standing in the shower and has the thong tan-line I thought that was hysterical. I also love his all black outlaw look.
