    LA Peeps - avoid the 405 by LAX

    Just saw on the news that there was a wreck between 3 trucks, 2 of which were carrying HazMat, and there was a spill.

    Location is S/B 405, just S/O El Segundo Blvd. That means if you have to go to LAX traffic is going to be killer. I would suggest Sepulveda, but it is probably packed as well.

    N/B 405 is bound to be very slow with all the rubberneckers. So expect a couple hour delay.

    They expect the freeway to be re-opened in 3 or 4 hours!

    I think I will stay by the beach today.

                  oh shit that is gonna fuck people that are trying to get flights out for the holidays. i know several people that are going to the airport around 3 or so. i am gonna call them.

I've been driving in LA for a decade and still manage to rarely take the 405... In LA we don't speak in distance... we speak in minutes...
