Everything in life that you experience changes you... period...
If you shot yourself in the foot with a loaded weapon, you'd better be more careful next time. If you had a kid in that period I guarantee you've changed... If you adopted a pet, if you watched a TV show, if you LEARNED ANYTHING during a period you have forever changed...
You will make decisions differently, you will attach new and different emotions to stimuli, and genetically you have definitely changed...
To say you haven't changed is one of the most ridiculous statements I have ever heard...
