    Weekend Custom Car Show [hot pics!]

    When not shooting foxes today...I stopped by our local custom car show and grabbed a few shots.


















    Love the engine cowling on this old roadster.

      I would like to stab anyone in the head who puts Lambo doors on anything not a Lambo. It doesn't look good, it looks tard-rice.

      P.S. That guy only got a GT because he thought it was short for GT-R.

                                          I almost attended that show today with a bunch of my MOPAR buddies. That Mustang in your first pics is SILLY clean. Sat and chatted with the owner a couple weeks ago at another show.

                                              If that's the GT I'm thinking it is, then that GT tested at the dyno putting 700+ to the wheels, I don't think he was confused.

                                                  Maybe you mean a Ford GT, not a Mustang GT? If its a Mustang GT and thats on the stock block, he better get used to towing his car around. That thing will blow up after about 4-5 good runs. If they dropped a new engine in it, why even bother? For the money spent, you could just buy a ZR1 and be done with it.

                                                  BTW, it does look hideous. Like some ricer got ahold of it. Ugh

                                                      I was talking about the Ford GT, the Mustang is purely dress up. It's a guy in his 50's... To each their own I guess.

                                                      I think the only body mod I'm going to do to my car is a carbon fiber hood with hood clamps.... I don't really see the point.

                                                                      You should've...it was a good show. A lot of cars I haven't seen at other local shows. And it wasn't overly crowded so it was good for photos.

                                                                          The last show I attended, some cunt scratched my door down to the metal looking inside. It'll be awhile before I get up the nerve to attend again. The car was 3 weeks old and I needed to paint the door....

                                                                                              I was at a car show and they had a Bugatti Veyron that was unattended. I was waiting for a chance to get a shot without people around it and I was amazed at how careless people were with it. Most had to touch it while getting their picture taken. Women dragging their watches and bracelets along the paint. One guy told his young son to go by the car for a pic and the kid tried to sit on the hood. People tried to open the door to sit inside. If I had a show car I'd have to either rope it off or get really really drunk.

                                                                                                      Common sense just isn't so common, sad part was I was standing on the other side of the car when it happened and my daughter was sitting IN the car when it happened.

                                                                                                              Back in the 80s I took my custom Ford stepside to a few show-'n-shine events around the Toronto and Markham area...but always managed to keep it roped off with at least a 5' space all around.

                                                                                                              That's not always possible, I know.
