iPod nano - what do you think?

This weekend i bought an mp3-player, iPod nano.

Some of my friends say this is the best player ever, others don't like iPod for the special program it needs.

Do you think i've made the right choice?

for me this one is perfect, cos i like its size and concerning memory...so it's not less than in old nano

I wanna buy the same after christmas but I've read A LOT of really bad reviews from people who bought it. They say that it's bad quality for example they hear a peep sound after 2 weeks and the sound quality could be better.

from the ipod shuffle to the nano's - it worth every dime you have. nothing beats the pioneer and of course there could be another edition to the line of ipod nano product months from now, probably "another new feature" as how Steve Jobs puts it. Apple is a great hardware company and they're good in what they're doing

I love my nano! The only problem I've ever had was the little hold button staying on when it's actually off and that's a real killer on a 14 hour flight with screaming kids sitting behind you...

I have the silver one,
I've dropped it, froze it (almost constantly forgetting it in the car) overheated it and it sounds as good as it did the day I bought it. I have a thin little rubber case for it so it doesn't get scratched, which I suggest everyone has (mine has a clear plastic guard for the screen even) and then you're good to go

Low quality headphones come with it ... get some nicer ones and the sound quality will shoot up ...

that said ... I had two and both broke within weeks. They're fucking fragile. So many better players out there . For the same price you can find players with more features, and 16GB more space.

Forget the Nano... in fact, fuck iPod. It's over priced, overrated, and a pure waste of money.

amen, the ipod is popular because of marketing, granted its not bad but there are many players that are as good or better at the same price (or cheaper)

a friend of me has a black one but he has no computer so he brought it to me to put some mp3s into it and it took me a long time to find out how to do it. theres a program to manage/copy files into it but i still dont know how it works, somehow it copied all my files from My Documents into it, I dont know, it is difficult, but the controls on the player are awesome.
