And again you miss the point for this thread. I am not looking for a public apology or a way to clean up the damage to my browser. That would fix my issues..but would leave thousands of other surfers vulnerable to the same underhanded techniques. Whether Ron hears of this through this bbs or through the FTC or FCC is a mute point.
If you read this thread carefully, you will see that I have been very careful in insuring that the source of the problems is in fact the Standard Internet link. (Read New Install of Netscape thread above).
If Ron does respond to this thread, I assume that his response will be the normal 12 clicks response, which usually goes something like this...."we can talk about this again later when you get home from the day job. Do you want fries with that?). So, the end result, we will have our little pissing match, and 1,000's of surfers will continue to have their browsers exploited.
But, by defending my actions, I am probably minimalizing the original complaint, so this is my final response. This thread was not started to produce controversy..but instead to get results.
