For some reason, this industry seems to be unable to apapt to normal business ethics.
The everything goes as long as it makes money attitude will come to an end sooner or later, Zango and everybody who buys traffic from them is just a little piece of the big puzzle.

Yeah well Sleazy better wake up and smell the coffee soon. Just because his site isn't targeted today or doesn't get any popups it sure as hell doesn't mean that it isn't or won't be in the future.
I've said this before and I'll repeat it again until it sinks in for the "supporters". With 180/zango NO POPUP is required to overwrite cookies. Do you know what this means Sleazy and others?
Just because there's no pop on your site does NOT mean that your sales are not being stolen. You need to monitor this regularly and check cookies every single time. It's a sophisticated, sneaky way but those who don't see anything wrong stealing with popups sure won't see anything wrong with stealing without them. You'll be robbed blindly and you'll think all is fine because there's no popups on your site.
Some people will get exactly what they deserve and have coming to them. I wish them the very best of it too.

but still clueless. There seems to be a thread where a lot of the "larger" programs are saying they will not accept Zango traffic, so I'm just curious as to which ones are.
Like I said, I really don't have a dog in this fight - less than 20% of my income comes from adult these days - but I like to keep up with things and I DO still send traffic so I'd like to know who IS accepting Zango traffic since AFF is so far the only big proggie who's admitted it.Comment

Yes but zango does more than throw a couple of popups around it tracks what you do online builds a profile of your internet habbits and sends you ads relating to your browsing, So If zango had a mobile phone company they would listen to your calls and send you a text relating to what you said to the other person which would be highly illegal. In effect they "bug" your computer and try to sell shit to you that you may be interested in

The reason aff/cams is getting the shit for this is because by their own words "they are the market leaders" So if you start a campaign against say a drugs you go after the big guys and cut off the supply to the little guys so by getting people to stop promoting aff untill they drop adware seems like the sensible thing to do "Hurt their pockets" which will hurt zango's pockets and it starts a chain reaction, Once aff/cams stop using zango other companies will take action because they can no longer "fly under the radar" and let aff/cams take all the flack. This is the best way to deal with the zango thing

I have bitched. If it wasn't for me 90% of the people here would not have known about this, and I bet there would be NO zango/scumware threads right now. Doing a search back over GFY the last couple years I see this issue was only mentioned once or twice and it faded away each time after a day of posting. Each person here is capable of doing something to help with this. The programmers have come up with code to try to fight it. Some people have dropped their traffic with sponsors who support scumware. Some people have written the FTC. Some people have tried to educate their surfers. Some people like me continue to try to bring awareness (aka bitch). Even Sig whores help by bumping threads.

True. Good point. And they wouldn't just send you a message. They would wait for you to make a call and then they would connect you with someone else. After you talked to that person and hung up, then you would be delivered to the orginal person you were trying tocall.
Could you see picking up the phone and dialing Pizza hut's number and the person saying " Hello would you like to place an order (and it was dominos ?) After you hang up you are then connected to pizza hut. NO WAY this would fly.
