Your dog may need a physical. That floor riding is often a sign of either worms or that she needs to have her anal sac expressed (think squeezing like a zit). Which by the way lets out a smell that is so foul I have no problem paying for a vet to do it.
As for wiping my dogs ass after she shits, that would be a no. Then again our dog is just damn odd. It takes a shower about every night. We have a roll/walk in shower and she will join people in there.
