    i might get xbox360 - any good, your reviews?

    hey hey.

    wanna buy something neat for christmas for myself and I have been earning a lot from sigwhoring these past few months, so thought about one of the new games consoles.

    I cant be bothererd to wait for the ps3, that comes out here in march i think, the Wii just looks gay. I dont think i would like that controller.

    so that leaves the xbox360, whos got one, what are they like, is it worth buying one? the games? are they any good? price vs value? games are loads, but are they jam packed

    oh yeh and whats "live" like? i only have a 512k connection here, will it lag like a bitch on crack? how much is it per month again?


    gimme some info, give me your opinions.

                  i love my 360, kept me occupied for hours when i was working on the road over the summer. there's a pile of great games, and with the price dropping pretty drastically right now, you can get one at a pretty reasonable price. i haven't seen a ps3 in action yet, but i can only assume that it will come with all the problems every first generation sony console comes with. i'd say wait on the ps3 and pick up the 360. and make sure you buy deadrising...

                                  I love my 360. It's the best console I have ever owned by far. Also, before you guys rip on the wii too much, you should play one of the demo units in stores. It's surprisingly fun. I'll be buying one as soon as I am sure the first run units are problem free.

                                              Its not a bad console, just loud as fuck and overheating, too. I have one and play it, just for the same reason like you. PS3 will be out in March over here. I can't wait to get a PS3, so I can sell the xbox.

                                                                              It should be. I wouldn't try to host any games but you will be able to play without many problems...unless whoever is hosting your game is also on a 512.

                                                                                                          Most of the coupons are only good for 48 hours now. They had too many people acting like tools and getting banned only to come back with a new account a few minutes later. I've noticed that since they stopped doing the free month or 2 free months thing that a lot of the smacktards have gone back to PS2 online games since they can't afford xbl.

                                                                                                          I wish sony would charge to play ps2/3 games online. Socom is a blast but when you get a game full of 10 year olds singing and calling each other faggots it really kills the game in a hurry.

                                                                                                                                              If you're into the live arcade games, check out UNO. Yes, that card game you probably used to play as a kid. It's surprisingly fun on the 360, especially late at night when drunks have their cameras on. I've seen everything from people doing bong hits to a guy getting a blowjob while playing.
