                  I always open his threads about pics.

                  I don't think you can really call anyone a best photographer though. I don't look at most of the "Hey shot this girl for so and so....blah blah.... " cuz it's porn, and well, after 10 years, i'm pretty sick of looking at porn. Although beautifully done, you can only look at so many porn pics.

                  What Quantum-X does is in a league of it's own.

                  Dean Capture is one of my fav adult photogs.

                  Quantum-X adventures are just that, captured, frozen adventures.

                                                              I remember seeing some of his work, the air fields were run down with grass growing through parts of the concrete, and I remember a Stalin statue.

                                                              Whoever that is, ive been trying to find him for a while on here but don't remember who it is lol.

I would love to one day be doing something of that quality. Though, I am finding candids and, oddly, food photography are apparently where my interest and talent collides.

                                                                                                              The thread is about GFY photographers, not photographers in general... in art school I studied lots of photographers.

                                                                                                              However, if you want to know who my favorite photographer is OFF OF GFY, that would be Dieter Appelt. I have his books and have admired his work for many years, last I saw his book First Edition was going for $250, I own it.

                                                                                                              IMHO his self portraits have never been topped

                                                                                                                                  It's a qualitative subject. Everyone has a preference. In terms of photography, I was always inspired by the Pavia brothers (Tom in particular). Ansel Adam's control over exposure and composure are always inspiring, as well.

It is hard because some people shoot great landscape, some people shoot great glamour style ( dean) and then mutt shoots much more met-art style style..

                                                                                                                                                                      I love shooting landscapes.. however they don't produce the same income as my adult or main stream work..
