I've been single for so long that I can't sleep with my new chick in the bed, even when i drug myself to sleep. I'm trying to just persist and hope I can adapt, anyone have any similar experiences? Will I adapt or never get sleep?

ya know, in the end you'll be the opposite, you'll not be able to sleep unless she's there (assuming it's a she). I'm like that now, I just can't sleep without my GF there. I know whatcha mean about the snoring thing though, I think my partner is must be catatonic from some drug just to get to sleep through my roaring like a chainsaw. Do whatever works for you.
Sure you CAN adapt. You can adapt to almost anything. But if you don't want to, don't.
We have 2 beds side by side - hers fullsize, mine queen sized.. we learned early on that for us to be happiest, we shouldn't be in the same bed when trying to sleep.
Between moving, snoring, sheet stealing and all.. it's definitely easier to get deep sleep without another in the bed.All the best to you

It's annoying in the beginning, but you will adapt for sure, it just takes some time...but you won't sleep as well as alone if you don't get a bigger bed long term. For some reason, girls never have a normal temperature in bed, either their hands and feet are really cold or they heat up like hell...so make sure to get a lighter bedspread if you don't want to get fried at night.Comment
