Read this article today. It says insurance companies pay doctors the same as they did 15 years ago and they are being driven out of business.
So who's really fucking you america? It's not the government. It's greedy insurance companies.

Apparently you don't know any Doctors. The ones I know own multiple houses, take plenty of vacations and overall... enjoy life.Read this article today. It says insurance companies pay doctors the same as they did 15 years ago and they are being driven out of business.

I highly doubt they don't get paid enough.

The idiocracy of the American public is astounding. It is a shame we didn't get this kind of outcry on some things that really mattered in the past 10 years.
Oh lets see...
Did masses of people all over the country protest when we went to war AGAIN in the middle east? No... not really.
Did masses of people all over the country protest when the patriot act got passed? No... not really.
Did masses of people all over the country protest when the banks caused out economy to nose dive? No... not really.
Did masses of people all over the country protest when the first bail out got passed? No... not really.
But surely masses of people all over the country protested when the second bail out came up and passed, right? No... not really.
But let the Government try to figure out a way so everyone can get cheap and affordable health care and they come out in droves acting with bizarre assertions like Hitler just rose from the dead...
We ARE on the road to idiocracy, make no mistake about that.

People are easily trainable to vote for many things that are diametrically opposed to their own self-interest.
Edited to add: I do wonder, if a public option came along and it was better coverage than their current insurance, how many of the people at this protest would take it.Last edited by DonovanTrent; 09-14-2009, 09:16 AM.Donovan TrentComment

Here in Ontario, Canada - cops make $70/hr. special duty wage.
I counted a dozen officers guarding that guy near the end of the clip.
Gee, why don't we have funds to combat drunk drivers, or getting child molestors off the streets?
What a misallocation and waste of taxpayer money.
Ok, so the guy has a dissenting opinion he wants people to hear. That's his democratic right, correct? Then maybe he should attend a rally that supports his views - instead of forcing taxpayers to fund a phalanx of cops to protect his ass in a hostile crowd.Comment
