I'm not sure if you guys are being sarcastic or serious about the lack of a teaser video or more photos. I think it's great as is. Why give the consumer too much so he can beat off looking at the tour?

My #1 converting site has NO trailers and 5 small screen caps on the tour. No high res pics. No HD video. It's been my #1 converting site for 4 years.

I think you are right. I was banging a site 1:300 for a few weeks then started going 1:3000 So I looked at the site again. They added a shit load of preview vids.

I agree with DWB, less can definitely be more. I remember back in my AVS days, raising the conversions on more than one of my sites by REMOVING one of my preview pics and replacing it with a bright pink box that had big black type "THIS PIC TOO HOT TO SHOW, MEMBERS ONLY!!!"

For sure. All these sites are giving away too much these days. I can beat off just looking at the tours most of the time.

This is one area that webmasters have a problem with. Take static tours for example. I hear MANY webmasters complain about tours that do not update. Well, what if THAT combo of girls converts well? Why oh why would you break a formula that is converting well for the sake of making webmasters happy?

I'm a strong believer that a vast majority of webmasters put their own "webmaster" thoughts above that of the consumer, and this is where they fail. Don't worry about tours that don't change IF they are converting well. Don't worry about sites without HD video, so long as it converts well as is. Don't get caught up in industry hype and industry driven fads.

YES!!!!!! We don't have to give away the farm to make money. We just don't need it!!! I'm always for tweaking your tour until it converts to the numbers you want, however that may be, and leave it alone until the numbers change.

I would normally agree, but not in a case where its a HD site. One image is fine, im just saying the size is wrong if you want to sell it as HD site. Just like a restaurant in the Michelin Guide dont have a Burger on the frontpage of the menu, and a kidsarea in the back.

but if it works for him, then fine. Not my business
