but, if you say something, stick to your guns and do not apologise, no matter what the forum, the place, the time, the subject, etc...even if it means going down with your ship.
stick to your guns or beliefs and the hell with decorum, respect, whatever.
but if the person is going to apologise, the power of what was said is now diluted.
and, if the person apologises with a backwards childish apology, then his opponent will raise more money. and, then when that person tries it a second time and it's still not a real apology nor is it sincere, he will most likely lose the election, because....that, folks.....is politics.
