I'd do this too, then hit the record button every time the maid arrives to record her activities. Sure it'll cost you a bit to set this up but think of the benefits, even if you decide to dispose of the services of this maid you'll have a setup in place so you know for sure if you can trust the next maid.
You may find this suggestion a bit extreme but personally if I was going to allow a stranger into my home I'd want to know exactly what they where doing in my home i.e their job and nothing more. Plus not only will you find out if you can trust the next maid but you'll also have video evidence if anything important is stolen from you.Comment
