I think that it always takes a little while to get into these new characters.

I remember when he started to introduce Borat segments into the Ali G show. To start with I wished that he would just do more Ali G stuff, but after a few of them, I preferred the Borat segments.

He's a clever guy to realize that he needs to change characters every few years because the characters do get old after a while.

1: Borat
2: Bruno
3: Ali G

Bruno goes down south, implies some hicks of being gay and also hitting on them, by the end of the interview the man has already threatened to beat the fuck out of BRUNO. Hes way more ballsy than Borat.

I didn't like the bruno segments in the show, mainly because of that stupid hardcore/techno music and the fashing camera movements ... first like 30 secs in the intro, then 5-6 times in a 5 minute segment
drove me nuts
