    In case you haven't already done so. REMINDER .11 days from today, all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sales calls.

    To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone : 888-382-1222
    It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time.
    It bl ocks your number for five (5) years.

    You must call from the cell phone number you are wanting to have blocked .
    You cannot call from a different phone number.

                                      I really believe the do not call list is "bs"... I get telemarketers calling me all the freaking time at home and I'm on that list... but hell it's probably worth a shot

                                                  actually I work with a magazine company who has a call center,The DNC list is in effect with hefty fines if violated. They work within the guidelines because they can get their businesses pulled. Very much like spam on phones.


                                                  Therefore.... if your CEL number is registered on the do not call list, you have a better chance of not getting sales calls on your cel phone. Just added protection.

                                                  It works the same as your home phone. So just up to you.

                                                  Also, I got a ton of recorded calls for political pushing this past election. How did they get my cel number? I wasn't on the DNC list before, we will see how many sales calls I get for fundraising now...

                                                  Put it this way, legend or not... it doesn't hurt to take the step and block yoru number. Unless you are lonely and want telemarketers to call you so you someone to talk to

                                                      We still get sales calls on our home phone even though we signed up at donotcall.gov a long time ago. It's funny though, now.. they are recordings and you don't get a name of the business so you know who to complain about. We just don't answer any calls that come in as "unavailable" on our caller ID. The pre-election phone calls bordered on harrassment.
