Do You Run on Caffeine?
I've tried to stop drinking coke this last month and wow, my energy levels have been on the floor. Today I cheated and I feel like I can own the world... sadly, I must admit I run on caffeine

I have, but I mostly cut it out of my diet. However, I moved to Taurine back around '08. Keep far, far, far away from that. It's worse.
Drink cold water and smack youself around a few times. Get up and walk, move, get the blood running. Eventually you won't feel like a metadone junkie. It will take a few weeks, though. -

Yes Tons of Diet coke, coffee and 200 mgs of caffeine pills ( 357 super magnum every 3 hours) Then when I want to goto bed I pop between 6 to 8 benadryl

so funny this was the first thing at the top of GFY when i logged on. i was just thinking about how tired i am and trying desperately to avoid caffeine. i can go weeks without it but if i cave in it's a vicious cycle that is difficult to break. i have to cave today, just need to decide if i am going the green tea route (double bag) or espresso.Julie Larson

Coffee is my one very serious weakness. If I run out, which is highly unlikely.. my husband will move hell and earth to fix that problem in a hurry. NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE can speak to me until I have had one cup at least. lol
I am a huge fan of Deadliest Catch and found out Phil Harris has his own coffee company and he ordered me a gift basket from there for my birthday and I have to tell you, this is the BEST coffee hands down. I like it SO much that he joined me in their Monthly Coffee Club, so I'll never run out of GOOD coffee again. lol

I cut out diet coke and coke zero completely because of the side effects of aspartame, so I switched to regular coke about a month ago. Then I tried to stay away from that too but heck, I can't function properly without it. I'll try black tea for the rest of this week to break the coke addiction (ha, I sound like a junkie!), so at least what I'm putting into my system is natural and not totally engineered in a factory.
I'm the only cuban chick that doesn't drink coffee so it's tea or nothing from now on

I have found that is working for me better.
I do it every other day, and do a power hour right before I crash. Typically as I start to feel a nap coming on, I hit the treadmill and will be able to squeeze another 12 hours out of the day.
Today I am really feeling it since I have not been able to do it because of endless fucking interruptions. I can't manage 60 minutes on the treadmill. So I will have to make up for it tomorrow if not this evening.
Everyone just needs to get the fuck out of my house.

yup as it also typically has caffeine in it as well.
caffeine does not seem to give me much if any of a buzz and does not keep me awake if i drink it right before bed. i do typically have some hot tea in the morning but if i miss it, i am not grumpy or anything.
i do enjoy coffee, lots of tea's, and some soda's. but to answer your question, no i do not.
on a related note, i have found that a glass of apple juice wakes someone up quicker and with more energy than coffee with the exception to dealing with those that are addicted to caffeine.Comment
