Serious question: Do fools get away with more in Adult?

Alright,
I can dig that this mess is not quite the place for a serious question,
But it's free to ask a question.. so...

I'm always on here now and then reading about some of the shit that goes on and I don't know how alot of the people stay alive.. All I can say to the ones who are getting away with alot of shitty business, don't try it outside of Adult, you won't last long..

Is it because of long distances, anonymity.. what?

A lot of mainstream businesses get away with shitty business too. Call centers where people barely speak English (in this country), poor telephone queueing systems, delivery delays, slow service, poor customer service in general. Then there are the Worldcoms of the world.

Well people can get away with it for a few things

1. Its online, drama is pretty much expected and getting ripped off or fucked over on a deal is very common these days even for mainstream

2. Any industry that involves big money (adult/casino/travel/pharmacy/mlm) will always attract shady people. Hell even contractors fuck you over.

3. Tons of people just don't care, if the ceo of walmart flashed his penis at traffic it'd be all over the news and investors would get angry. If howard stern did it everybody would laugh and have fun with it.

I guess I don't understand,
All of the business I've ever done was less than.. normal.

If I would have ever fucked someone out of even a few thousand I wouldn't be typing right now or breathing- I think that is the way it ought to be. I can't imagine someone getting over on me for over maybe 20 bucks even when I was making thousands every week.. Anything over a hundred bucks or so still would have made me murderous and horrible

I guess I don't understand people who take it in the ass for several grand or more and they don't go out and at least break the guys face.

3. For $20 or $2000, is someone going to spend many times more than that hunting down another for death or prosecution?
