I think he's referring to the fact that Europe (and most of Asia) has had MMS for about
7 years.
I don't get why the US is excited about MMS on the Iphone. MMS is outdated and far from 'exciting', but that's just my personal opinion. If you have a data plan you're much better off with just emailing things from one mobile device to another. I've always loathed MMS, don't even have it set up on my phone.
