Firefox is great.

But a few days ago I tried Internet Explorer 7.0 Beta and I must say I was pretty impressed. One of the things I like most about Firefox are the extensions. But the Beta version of IE 7 offers something similair.

I really hope that the introduction of IE 7 won't mean the end of Firefox. Competition is good for Microsoft.

After the browser war between Microsoft and Netscape ended in the late 1990's little was done to improve IE. The last significant update was the 5.0 version and that was in 1999 (?)

It was only the success of Firefox which stimulated Microsoft to improve IE

I use firefox. Firefox 2.0 looks great but unfortunately it became very unstable after I have installed my favorite extensions. So I moved back to the 1.5 version, which also does a good job,

IE all the way ... firefox sucks at building the sites in a logic way (like display bg images at last).

also firefox is not able to read most simple html coding (displays the sites in a fucked up way)
