Those are champions off the top of my head that are BJJ Blackbelts or similliar levels.
Virtually everyone trains in BJJ for MMA. If you don't you end 9 outta 10 getting tapped out.

When did I say grappling wasnt good? I go to class usually once a week for it! It's fun, but not as much fun as striking, and certainly not as effective as striking on the street. the ground is the last place I want to be in a street fight! its always multiple opponents, and getting someine in a hammer lock or triangle choke is only going to get you punted in the face by some drunk fuck. Plus, rolling around on the ground with sweaty guys might be your idea of a fun way to stay in shape, but not mine. I prefer ground defense and keeping it standing.
I'm just tired of everyone acting like BJJ is the end all be all of MMA. Ask good ol' Royce how his supreme BJJ worked against Matt Hughes or Sakuraba.
BJJ is just one part of MMA, and its NOT the only thing you need. Eddie Bravo would get owned in the UFC or Pride, so fuck off with all this bullshit eddie bravo cock sucking for today please..

If you trained in BJJ, then you would know that getting dominant position is the ultimate goal.

1. Imperical data shows that grappling beats striking 9 out of 10
2. The more attackers you have, the less chance you have winning.
