ok, i know it takes a good while and alot of effort for a blog to really bloom to its full potential, but at hwat point after paying for traffic, buying hardlinks, building more and more content, etc etc, is it time to look at your investment and say "this doesn't seem to be going anywhere for me" i've made 3 sales on my site this month, which seems to me, not bad for first month, but with what i can see being up to a few hundreds dollars a month invested, i'm curious when its time to look at what i've got going for myself, and evaluate the investment. 3 months, 6 months? a year?
at what point is it time to call it quits?

not looking to get superrich superquick. i always enjoyed running a site, but i didn't have a computer for a while, and now that i do i spend quite a bit of time playing in photoshop, screwing around with amateur design and such. its a hobby for me, especially working on the road all the time and not having anything better to do than fuck around on my laptop. i make good money operating heavy equipment for a major railroad contracting company, i don't need to make money, i don't even need to work for the next 4 or 5 months, its free time to snowboard, get drunk, smoke myself retarded, and probably fuck around alot on the computer. if i'm building sites all the time anyways, why not take a shot at having my hobby payoff a little too? i had previous experience with freesites and adult blogging years ago. i ran a comedy/adult blog with around 4k daily, mostly return visiotrs, with a good community base, right up until my computer died. if i stuck with it through those years, i could have had a solid moneymaker right now. so fuck it, i'm gonna go for it again, buy some traffic for a while to get myself caught back up a bit. with the flexibility wordpress allows me, i don't even need to put half the effort i used to put into things with newspro (does anybody here still use this? heh). i think i slap together a pretty quality blog, i have the time to dedicate for a while...
i'm sure there's people who need to hear it, but i'm getting sick of being told "no money in porn! don't waste your time. you're not gonna get rich"
worst case scenario: i spend a few hundred a month occupying a whole lot of empty time. this is actually a good money saver for me, in comparisson to what i spend when i have nothing better to do, trust me.
medium case scenario: i make enough money to pay for my hosting and have a little extra beer money for the winter.
best case scenario: who really knows. a solid network that i can live semi-comfortably on (which doesn't take me a whole lot), or something i can sell off and buy a new bong with when old blue breaks...Comment

if one site or one niche isnt working for you ismokeblunts, then move onto another. and whilst your working on that other, who knows, your blog may pick up speed and there you got it.
there is money in porn, of course, yet its not easy pickins like it used to be, you gotta spend time and hardwork, like your doing.
but dont give up and the main thing is, if something doesnt work for you, try another method.

lol. i spent 2 years getting my site going till it was profitable to quit my job and go fulltime.. its slow, building, id say half a year min.. exhaust every effort, sell your idea 100 ways and refine your product/schemeok, i know it takes a good while and alot of effort for a blog to really bloom to its full potential, but at hwat point after paying for traffic, buying hardlinks, building more and more content, etc etc, is it time to look at your investment and say "this doesn't seem to be going anywhere for me" i've made 3 sales on my site this month, which seems to me, not bad for first month, but with what i can see being up to a few hundreds dollars a month invested, i'm curious when its time to look at what i've got going for myself, and evaluate the investment. 3 months, 6 months? a year?
