In an evolutionary sense, it's perfectly acceptable for a woman to attract a "nice" guy who provides for her, and then cheat and become impregnated by a man who is genetically superior than the "nice" guy. In essence, this strategy affords the woman the best of both worlds: 1) Progeny with superior traits, and 2) a provider who will help her foster its' growth with the requisite resources.
On the flipside, though, it'd be an acceptable mating strategy for a man to rape women in an effort to impregnate as many as possible and pass his traits to successive generations.
I guess what I'm really trying to say is that if you cheat on me, I'll rape you.
