    Seeing U2 in a few hours!!!!

    I can't wait.

    Almost everyone I know in Sydney has seen them and said they totally rocked!!

                                      Wife and kids went on Saturday night. Got tickets for $135 each and they had a ball. Lots of pissed people there though no trouble with them.

                                                              That's right...pissed as in drunk. Plenty of them. Apparently sale of alcohol was supposed to have stopped 30 mins before the support act (Kanye West) took the stage...seems they kept selling it till the end.
                                                              It was a hot day too so people falling over everywhere.

                                                                      I am often disappointed with concerts because the bands typically sound pretty bad. that said I have seen U2 three times and I would say they are 3 of the best shows I have ever seen. Bono is the greatest frontman in the history of rock.

Three of the four of them are religous guys, but to say they are a Christian band goes a little bit far. Religion is one of the many influences that the the band has. The are also influenced by politics, love, sex, women, hate, other music, travel, friendship, family and humor just to name a few.

                                                                                                                                              It was their final concert in Sydney and and they gave it up!!!

                                                                                                                                              I danced with some Irish girls I met at the concert and everyone was in the best mood!!
