I did this & ended up back on the purple pill 1 week later

I used to suffer from it so badly I always had a couple jars of TUMS and Rolaids by my bed. It sucked. Could not even drink refrigerated water as it would cause discomfort.

My cure? I went on a raw food diet. I started it to lose weight but eventually noticed that the acid reflux disappeared. Never came back even though I discontinued that diet.

acid reflux or heart burn is the lack of acid in your stomach. When you take tums and other pills they draw or suck out all the acid to try and trick your body to produce more.

More acid in the stomach is need and bestxxxporn is correct, apple cider vinegar will add the acid you need.

I was about 80lbs overweight a few years ago and had acid reflux. I lost the weight and started drinking a lot of water and the reflux went away.

water is hard to digest for the stomach. better off drinking milk or something with a little sugar in it.

They suppress the symptoms (usually) but don't cure the problem... why would they want to sell you something once when they can sell it to you for a life time?!
