Do you guys get dirty looks at the bank?

Every time I take those Ibill or CCbill checks to the bank I get the
"So what is it you do?" question and a smirk.

I think the porn surfing male tellers have seen the Ibill logo before and the cat is out of the bag. They don't buy that I'm a "consultant" anymore.

I keep getting checks from CCBilll and I have no idea why, i see my partner id number and I have no idea where I ever use it, I dont use ccbill for anything, but I keep getting like 60 a week for some odd reason.

nope, my bank loves me. They gouge me with fees every chance they get and i never complain. I always get a smile and a free lolipop whenever i go in.

i think your just paranoid,,, i cash something like 15 checks a week and never once did they ask me what i did,,,
the teller goes thru checks so fast they don't even pay attention to what the checks look like,,,

I get strange looks cause I guess I look like someone who wouldnt work with computers, let alone have any money. The first few times I drug my ass into the bank with 15k+ checks they figured I was trying to commit fraud. I just said fuck it and had ibill start ACH'ing them in so I wouldnt have to deal with anymore shit.

As far as my bank is concerned, I am an in "ecommerce development". riiiiight

I thought everyone at the bank knew I had pornsites and a phone sex company... LOL But the other day when I was depositing a check that was made out to "SinEmpire" one of my regular tellers asked me what I did, so I told her... She had this really disapproving look on her face and I surmised that she's definately a very church-going lady. I wonder what she'll be like next time I go in...

My bank teller loves me also. she is a blone about 45 years old and i think she used to fuck my dad.. she alwayus asks me how he is and tells me they used to "run around together". HAHA

she asks me what i do and i tell her i am sel employeed.. thats all i tell them.

Try opening a US dollar account, that way you can cash your checks into the US account, and every so often trasfer from there into your Canadian account.

I usually deposit at the ATM but I must say there are some real hotties who work at my bank. Perhaps I should go to the counter instead and see if any of them perk up when I tell them what I do. Lets see... They make 8 bucks an hour, part time... after taxes that is like 35 cents..... and I will pay them at least 60 cents an hour.

My bank manager knows exactly what I do, He always asks me hows business and hows ya traffic going, I dont give a fuck who knows what I do for a living, I get off on telling people what I do for a living, I'm even teaching my wife how to build sites, which will be great more money for me,

I use money mart and I have been using them for a while so they got used to my work checks. now I cash them still and when ever I cash sponcers checks they are like what is this for heh even with my works partner program checks...

Most of the tellers at my bank know what I do and they don't care or think it's funny but one day I get this teller that normally works somewhere else in the bank. She kept looking at my adultfriendfinder check asked what I do. I just said web design. As I was leaving I saw one of the other tellers over talking to her (probably telling her what I really do ) then about a week later I went in and got the same teller. This time she turned red and was embarassed. I wanted to lean forward and say something like " It's nothing to be embarassed about, I won't tell the other tellers you're featured on analwhore.com."

but alas i just smiled and went about my way.

I live in a small town. Ive never gotten dirty looks, but I have gotten a lot of strange bewildered looks. Mainly because they dont know their heads from their ass's.

Every time I try to deposit a check drawn out of a Canadian bank, they have trouble... and have to get the manager.

Every time I wire money to places like Turkey or Lithuania they have trouble...and have to get the manager.

When I deposit checks from places such as "Stiffy Productions" , "Cyberheat", or "CyberEntertainment", they look at me like wtf? Pure confusion on their part.

Anyways, I they never really asked what I do. CCbill checks tend to be non-descript so who knows. I do have a hosting customer that is a local strip joint, I always purposely go in to deposit those into the company account, for the laughs.

"Er, this is from (strip club here)?"

"yep, they pay ME to go to the club."

I thought about this, when I received my first check from ARS and several thereafter. Prior to this, I talked with my bank advisor and ask her how I could set up an online merchant account and I wondered if she was going to ask me what type of "business" I would be going into. She was nice, gave me some #'s and didn't even care really. I guess they come across so much in a day, why bother to ask.
