spiderman 1 was cheesefest. i used to read the comics but that movie was weak. didnt bother with the second, i may watch the third on dvd just because venom may be in it.. what about carnage?

Nope. Black suit by itself is just a symbiote, it has to merge with a humanoid to take the 'venom' form. The black suit in the comics was found by spiderman during the Secret Wars, in the cartoon it came back on a space shuttle (I think). Dunno how it'll be in the movies. Anyways the black suit will eventually find its way to Eddie Brock and become Venom.
