i however do not get his ad bug ideas, unless he has posted how and what they are and how i could use them. i am pretty sure i could not do product placement like some shows are doing now thanks to dvr's and other technology. i also do not get his other ideas for making money using other tricks he has and again i would appreciate a link if he has ever posted the list of all the ways, and how.
not going to argue your point, but I will argue the 100%

it is his interpretation and application of his 'facts' that we argue

he glorifies certain parts and belittles others, and in some cases, completely ignores aspects.

'backups' are allowed under the law as long as they are personal and private. this goes for vcr tapes, blank disks, clouds, torrents, dvr's, etc etc - but he ignores the text that defines the qualification personal and private.

regardless of your 'right to timeshift' and the media that you choose to 'timeshift' on - the qualification in the law is no 'public' broadcast or access. yet that is exactly what is happening thru the misuse of the technology

such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or research,
for some reason he believes that publically available and accessable torrents of full porn siterips and full porn DVD rips (and of course software, hollywood, etc) are perfectly acceptable - and are really just an innocent 'backup'.

he tries to say that theres no real harm done to us producers.

he seems to want ALL digital content of any type (except his stuff, of course) to be free because it fits his personal marketing scheme and future profits.

he wants us to buy in to his free digital scheme so he can sell us his perfect technique and make those glorious profits ( )

this is a portion of why we argue with him - his copy/pastes may be accurate but his interpretations and visions are skewed.

and it just so darn much fun!!!!

(if you are giving it all away for free, what are those highly annoying 'branding bugs' going to sell? oh ya, dating memberships... )

believe me - without free porn, just as many people will seek porn out on the Internet, and many more will pay if there is no free alternative, its not like sex is a fad - it can be milked much like any renewable resource - long term
