Anyone here watch The Office?

I was the British version, I try to watch the USA version, but in all honesty, I feel like they dumb down the humor a bit for the American viewers, it just doesn't have that kick ass dry whit and cynical humor like the British one has, it just has typical predictable laughs

Yeah I hear that a lot, and I haven't seen the British version myself so I can't really judge.

Season 2 and 3 (US) are a lot better than season 1 though

yeah, I catch it every once and a while, there are some really funny moments, but rare...the british one has me laughing non-stop the whole way through

Steve Carell is ok as that roll, but if you catch the british one and see Ricky Gervais you will see what I mean....he just fits the part perefectly, steve carell can be funny, but it is almost like he is trying to hard, and when you play a character that is trying to hard it shows through as an actor when you try to hard...LOL...

the British version was amazing, wish it lasted longer

the American version was good but really got going this season - ive laughed harder then I ever have at a tv show - like yesterday when jim faxed dwight

The office is a great show. Don't know about the british version. I haven't gotten to see it yet.

yep... I have seen both, but the British version is 100 times better than the American one!
