SEDO is next to useless

i once made a very easy 500 bucks on a domain through them - can't complain for a $6,95 registration fee

Tried to buy domains from sedo a couple of times, 90% of the domains I was trying to buy I could not get because the seller did not respond...

Also curious if there are better ones out there

I dumped them a couple of years ago when their reps kept emailing me for flagging domains which they said were obscene. No shit.

Parking in general is a dying game imho.

Give me some better parking options, was doing very well with them and their parking has gone down 50% over the last few months.

For parking, yea they are not too splendid. Go with Parked or DomainSponsor instead (or BigJumbo if you have a $500+/mo port). Giving advice without affiliate codes on GFY, holy shit I've committed a sin!

For selling, they are unfortunately the best market out there. I say unfortunately because they are dominating the marketplace scene, but are using that dominance to get away with doing little to nothing to improve the marketplace experience over the years. I mean ffs they still have "asking prices" that are not binding...wtf is the use for an asking price if a buyer can bid it and not get the domain?

Sometimes they really need to be nudged in a transaction too...it's probably not all of their escrow agents that are lazy, but some of them seem to be.

How do I get an account with bigjumbo, those whores don't reply. I'm making 2k+ from domainsponsor, fabulous and parked.com. I dumped sedo a while back.

Shoot me an email and let me know which email you've tried signing up there with. I'll see what I can do.

Oh yea, forgot to mention Fabulous if you have gambling domains (honestly everything else there seems to have sucked for a long time). They're not easy to get into either though.

I couldn't even list a damn domain.

I've just tried to pay my US$19 invoice twice via paypal, and in IE and Firefox your setup refuses to pay it, all I get is sent back to sedo.com with this error message:

Why offer paypal as a choice then if you do not offer it?
Wire transfer costs about $30 a go - which is more than your service.

Sedo recently added 2500 new categories including antique toilets but was disappointed to see of the 100s of possible adults ones they only managed to think of 12. I was thinking it would be helpful if they add some more relevant ones so niche domains would not get buried there but I see they do not bother monitor the categories for relevance anyway so I guess it don't matter. I have had 400 domains there for many years and have got just a few ridiculous offers.

You're using AFD? How much has it improved? Also, have they done anything to juice up the looks of the pages at all? That was the one thing that irked me with AFD - Google doesn't like parked pages so they come up with AFD which makes the most bland looking obvious non-site parked pages imaginable? lol

frikken too right - I'm currently in a transaction process that has twice before been sold, but the buyer never paid. This time it's 3 weeks since it was sold, but still no payment. What's worse is during this time, no clicks are being registered so I'm losing the money the domain makes me every month and I have to wait 4 weeks to get it back on the market.

THis is really pissing me off - what's the point of agreeing a price if the buyer never frikken pays up
