Here is my question about all the people who are suddenly wanting to protect the country and wanting government out of their lives. Where have they been for the last 8 years? Bush signed the patriot act which allows for wireless wiretapping and spying on citizens. He created an entire new branch of government with the Dept. of Homeland Security. He gave billions to big business who used it to move jobs out of this country. He got us involved in a war that cost billions, if not trillions and now we are learning that we knew before hand that he had a pretty good idea that there were no WMDs before the invasion ever took place. And through it all these people never said a word.
Why are they all of a sudden so pissed off?

Because it's not about health care, it's about Obama. People lost the election and now are using this as their way to voice their displeasure.
Even if you don't like the health care plan on the table, you should believe something needs to change. We pay double what most countries do and live shorter lives. Somewhere along the lines we have to sit down and say "we aren't getting good value here".
The problem is that this country needs smart people to sit down and figure it out. Find a plan that works for the country. There are lots of ideas. But we have dolts like this who are just mad the black guy got elected and are now going to shit on whatever idea he has to make up for it.
