    What's up with sales this August???

    Damn! Up until the end of July I was at 1:300 1:500, etc with certain sponsors.

    For this month not even a damn sale with any of them
    And it's the same SE traffic as before!

    I'm at 0:5000+ 0:3000+

    Anyone else having a terrible start of August?

I actually went 11 days with no rebill or sale in CCBILL.... and this happened this month. Something is going on and no one is naming names.. I don't know why.... really starting to believe there is no money in porn... as an affiliate.

                                                                                              No kidding... 0:10,378 Raw and 0:8,562 Uniques

                                                                                              I'm pretty sure September and the winter months will turn this around, but this is getting a little unnerving.

                                                                                              Today however, 2 sales and 1 rebill, but these dry spells are getting way too long for my comfort level.

                                                                                                                  I did have 64 rebills as well. Really sucks cause I like a lot of the sites and the people behing the sites and I hate to ever pull links. When I do I often end up puttting them back.

                                                                                                                          As someone who does this professionally 7 days a week if I choose a prog I will live with the results. It is up to me to make a good decision. I have made many good decisions.

                                                                                                                          But with CCBill there is common ground that represents alot of progs who are trusting in CCbill to deliver results and not scrub too hard.

                                                                                                                          I feel bad saying anything against CCBill. They have never mised a payment, ect. But fuck 1 in 20,000 won't support my cat. And if you combine me and Sharphead thats like 1 in 40,000 raw lately.

                                                                                                                                  This 20,000 uniques is spread out among prob 100 sites at least.

                                                                                                                                  Which brings me to a statistics question I have long wanted to ask the math guys here..

                                                                                                                                  In theory 20,000 uniques sent to 1 (mean average of the set of 100 in conversion potential, in theory) site should convert the same as 100 sites each getting 200 hits.

                                                                                                                                  There in lies the problem and to be fair to CCBill..

                                                                                                                                  I don't think 100 sites at 200 hits each will convert as well as 1 site getting all 20,000 hits.

                                                                                                                                  Just my gut as a wm, statisticly it should not matter.

                                                                                                                                  Or should it?

                                                                                                                                  (I hope that was an understandable example)
