My hard drive started failing this morning. My PC barely started up with clicking sounds coming from my main hard drive. I tried Easeus Disk Copy and ShadowCopy but they both failed miserably. I had only a few more chances of cloning my disk to the new hard drive before total disk failure.
I went to my laptop and luckily Clonezilla popped up in Google search. Downloaded, burned it on to a CD and rebooted my main computer to Clonezilla.
Clonezilla easily clone disk to disk but it took a few hours. Every time my old hard drive would make a "clicking" sound Clonezilla would take note, recover and continue with out failing.
I'm on a new hard drive with all my data intact.
Just another reminder on how important it is to back your shit up!
