sending payouts if its outsourced costs money - thats one of the reasons

fraud prevention is another reason, processors take time to run through all transactions to make sure they're legit, programs would be taking a risk if they sent payouts before checking into all the sales first

why!?!? I understand if youre sending a paper check it costs money, but Epassporte doesnt charge that much and certainly a small check covers the fee.

I have a bunch of sponsors where I only made $35 here, $17 there. I must have hundreds of dollars out there with different sponsors and I cant get paid because I didnt hit their minimum. Its fucking rude.

The costs associated with processing a payment is not just the transaction cost.

The lower the minimum payout, the greater the number of payments that must be processed by the company. These payments are created and processed usually by people (accountants) and each transaction takes time. The more transactions there are, the more time it takes. Since these people earn money based on their time, more transactions to process = more cost. A

So, perhaps ytou should realize that you arent the only webmaster in the world and affiliate programs have a responsibility to run profitable businesses. If I were the affiliate program in question I would give you your $17 and tell you to not bother sending us anymore traffic since it is not worth the headache

I think your spreading yourself to thinly. I agree you should earn money from different sources, so if one source ends your not screwed, but why not just have a few good sponsors that you promote properly and reach the minimum payout every pay period. That makes more sense to me.
