Ok, im finally tring to step up to the big leagues... I started an affiliate program this week. It is on a mainstream site but that doesnt mean it cant convert for you guys right?
The site is a headlight website, I will be adding HID's and LED's this week as well, right now there is halogen HID look bulbs and mini bulbs up.
The bulbs are priced at $20 per set
The HID's will vary in price up to a bit over $200 per set.
I give away $5 for signing up
Payments are held until you earn $20 and are paid on the 1st of every month
Only stipulation is no self sales, I wont pay comissions on a set of bulbs you sell yourself
I am paying 20% comissions on sales
If you reach the mark of sending 200 sales your commission will be raised to 25%
Also I am paying 25% on commissions of reffered affiliates (if you refer an affiliate and he earns $10 you earn $2.50)
I already promote the site with adwords, yahoo search marketing, and myspace myads and it has been converting pretty well for me.
