Yeah, the first person I talked to had no clue, she said I'd have to just 'wait and see'. Her attitude pissed me off so I got transferred to her supervisor but he really didn't sound confident either.
Regardless, I'll be camping out at Best Buy. It's going to suck when it's limit one per customer... probably going to camp out at wal-mart first on the 16th until midnight, pick up as many as I can there then head to Best Buy.Comment

I did the 2nd release of the xbox 360 a month after it was initially released. The last people to actually get one got there around 7pm the night before. So I highly doubt you'll be able to secure one if you don't get there until midnight. There are people that will be waiting on the 15th for the release the morning of the 17th.Comment

Eh, I'm not that worried about it where I live. I'll go at around noon the 16th and ask walmart about the PS3's, secure my place either myself or with a scab. Then as soon as I can legally buy then, buy as many as possible. I'll probably stick a scab around BB to keep a close eye and to call me when people start showing up. These are the few times I love the place I live... people around here have really low purchasing capabilities. Most of the EB Games pre-orders weren't done here for over an hour (I got most of them with a few scabs LOL), and most of the people who showed up showed up right as the store was opening rather than stay in line for hours.Comment

I guess they want to take pre-orders at a later date or something, and maybe they just not intend their system was for taking pre-orders at this date.
