Yesterday I decided I'd give Windows Vista RC1 a shot to see what it's like. I must say, so far, thumbs up 
- It runs a lot faster and smoother for me than XP ever did.
- The interface enhancements are not half bad
- I didn't need to install any drivers/software for my on-board stuff, wireless connection, etc...XP was a major pain with some of them (HP specific ones) - everything was automatically detected and working of the bat.
I did have an issue with setting up VPN, which was the following:
- After configuring a VPN connection, it never appears in the "Connect To" menu. However by simply rebooting, it then appeared and allowed me to edit its settings and connect without issue.
So far, so good. No crashes, no slowdowns, etc....
What's your thoughts so far ?
