This is a business, I like dealing with professionals. If there was ever a reason not to promote Epic sites it is just this type of display.
If I were in Epic Cash's shoes I would be saying something along the lines of 'yeah it's been 2 months, we have had some accounting delays, sorry about that but we promise to fix it next week"
instead what we have seen is abuse, abuse and more abuse.
Call me old fashioned but that's not the way to inspire people or encourage them to do business with you.Comment

Anyway... 7 G's is a nice amount to backout on, But isn't jtf just an affiliate rep? If I was him I'd be forwarding those emails to trey and wiping my hands clean.“If you can convince the lowest white man he’s better than the best colored man, he won’t notice you’re picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he’ll empty his pockets for you.”Comment

His last post said that he was an SEO expert and implied that the EpicCash site was history. Note the date that he posted iti googled epiccash for sport, 3rd result had a link to this:
http://epiccash-review.blogspot.com/
lol
And to everyone with the "Why am I not surprised" responses:
Instead of jumping on the bandwagon, join Epiccash just for shits and giggles, and contact any of the Epic Crew when you have a problem or request. Then prepare to be pleasently surprised at how professionally you're dealt with. Epic rocks, and the Epic crew rocks, but it's your choice, be a hater and continue earning pennies

I got another e-mail from the Free Speech Coalition today. I thought I'd share it:
Hi, John Paul:
Thank you for following up on this on our behalf. We appreciate your help.
Val is our office manager and she and her staff have all been on the lookout for the check for weeks because they all know I'm on the lookout for it. I checked as recently as Thursday of last week (Val was out-of-town on Friday) and we hadn't heard from them as of then.
Val is also the one who checks almost all of our online e-mail accounts and sorts them to the proper recipient. She hadn't heard from them there either, at least as of Thursday.
[....]
One note, though, that their inquiry about a tax form caused me to stop and wonder about . . . .
We're a 501(c)(6) under IRS code, not a 501(c)(3). Basically, we're a non-profit, but a non-profit trade organization, not a non-profit charity (people often lump non-profits together into one batch -- the IRS doesn't). So, their donation, when made, is not tax deductible in the same way it would be to a non-profit charity.
Consequently, the tax donation form they indicate they're looking for will be of no use to them and we don't ordinarily provide them for that reason. Charities do. Trade organizations don't. Their paper trail would be their check, unless they need/want us to provide them with a receipt for their own benefit -- which we can/will do if they ask -- but their accountant, if he/she knows we're a (c)(6) and not a (c)(3) would probably not allow it as a deduction. Certainly, the IRS probably won't.

Is my surprise a $7,000 check for the FSC?
The reason the thread is bumped is because I wanted to post the e-mail I got from the FSC saying they're not aware of any e-mail sent to them from Epic Cash, that they've obviously not gotten a check, and that the "tax forms" you guys want are irrelevant.

I don't think he's talking about a check Lenny (although I could be wrong). More than likely, he's probably going to produce some e-mail that epic supposedly sent to the Free Speech Coaltion, that the FSC never received. And, might I add, that despite 2 months, Epic never bothered to contact the FSC about and say "hey we haven't heard back from you did you get our email?"
Epic's said they aren't going to pay. They claim it's my fault because I started a thread about them. But hey, it's been 2 months now.
In my opinion, if they had ever planned on paying, they would have done so loooong before I started this thread.
They may still do the RIGHT thing and make the payment that they've pledged to an organization that's important to us all, but I'd be surprised, and am not holding my breath.Comment

Ba this is NOT what you told us.

You need to get your shit straight Aids Boy.
As far as forms. We did in fact email asking for them and if you wanna call them irrellevant then you have no business working in this industry. If we ask for fucking forms before sending a check, you either send the fucking forms, or you get shit. Period.
Stop fucking trying to intimidate us btw. This is Epic you're dealing with BTW, not some 18 year old twink you picked up at a fucking bar.Comment

And I'm going to ask you again, then I'm done with you.
You talked to me EVERYDAY up til you started that thread Friday. I'm confused. You had ample time to whine about the NoCarrier auction, or to tell me about your fucking ass ucler, or to ask me to bump your stupid fucking threads.
What was so difficult about finding the time to hit me up about this?
LIKE YOU SAID YOU WOULD.Comment

Sorry: "Ulcer".
You spent an hour Thursday telling me about your cancer scare that had turned out to be a fucking piece of spinach stuck to an ulcer up your ass.
(Swear to God)
You couldnt have taken 30 seconds to ask me what was up with THIS?Comment

It is irrelevant if they never got it, if you were told they said they never heard from you, if you were given their contact information and phone number and email address, and you STILL didn't follow up with them.

Moron.
My involvement in this consisted of the following:
You hit me up whining several weeks ago.
I mentioned it to Jim and asked me to get the email of the person at FSC.
I got it from you, gave it to him, he passed it along to accounting.
Accounting sent the email.
That was the LAST time you mentioned this to me. I assumed til Friday that it had been taken of.
You need to STOP trying to blame this on me.
Let me say this again: The LAST word about this was the day I got the email addy from you.Comment

Great news to hear that the FSC will be getting paid, I'm sure they'll be putting the money to good use to help protect our industry against an ultra conservative administration!
As for making an enemy, it certainly wasn't my attention, and it isn't my call. I tried to handle this situation the best that I could, have been working on getting it resolved for two months now, and while I'm sorry this is the way it had to happen, I'm glad that the FSC is getting their donation.
I guess everyone makes "enemies" going through life, even if they don't intend to.
