my suggestion, and this is just my suggestion, is to find a hue in the color palette that you like, and adjust the saturation and brightness. i prefer to stick to cooler colors, blues, greys, pinks, use the the hot colors to draw attention to the content, or links that you want to focus attention on. all those bright flashy colors draw attention to where it isn't needed. try a greyish background, maybe a #333333 or a #666666 and some blue and grey tones, do whatever you think will look good though...Comment

ahh, i misse dmy point about the hue there. select a hue in th epalette and for other tables/headers and etc adjust the saturation and brightness. it gives you a color scheme that doesn't clash...Comment
