Why would I leave? Many of the posters here have nothing to do with the industry. I was in it from June 1997 until September 2006. Again, why should I leave? Did Serge leave? Nope, still here. 12 clicks wasn't in the business for several years, but he was here too.

Donny is doing what good christians are suppose to do: Minister to your flock. Donny now sees each and every one of us as lost souls, the downtrodden that need to find god. There is no chance of this happening. I'm not doing bad financially. I've been busier than ever with new projects that involve my new beliefs. Will my lifestyle be toned down? Oh yeah. I'll live a much more simple life, but there are many other rewards that far outweigh the "toys" more money buys. I won't miss the toys too much. Notice I said "too much", because there will definitely be times I'll wish I was out on the lake or times after I lose this house where I'll wish I still lived here.
But life is full of change and adjustment. To think there is no money available outside of the adult industry is quite ridiculous.Comment

i myself am the grandson of grandparents that are deacons in their parrish. i was raised much the way donny was probably. had to attend church wednesday nights, sundays and 2 weeks a year vacation bible school.
religion was forced down my throat. i would question things that had no factual evidence as a child and be answered with "you just have to have the fatih". i do not believe in all that stuff anymore because it was forced on me as a child.
when i left home to join th military at 17 i left all of that stuff behind.
religion did not affect my life again until around late 2001 when the busty-amateurs owner found god. it was a living hell (pardon the pun) in our office for almost an entire year as he tried to jump to the mainstream market with a web based contact management and personal information management software company. he would force us to sit in the mornings while he prayed and attempted many times to get us all to join his "church" u hheem cult in san diego. thankfully, i survived and found my way back to the adult promised land.
i do not have any non good thoughts about donny and i do not think that he is acting in a way that people should worry about being converted. if you don't wholeheartedly believe that you are doing something wrong, then what is there to convert you from. if anyone has moral issues with what they are doing then maybe they should take a look inside to make sure you are doing the right thing. i don't feel negative or wrong about anything. i freely tell everyone what i do in public, on the web, anywhere. to the point that i have embarrassed people that i am with at the time.
donny isn't sticking around to convert people. he still has friends here. he can stay as long as he wants as far as i am concerned as he is part of the community, has helped create this online community, and contributes to it even as a born again.
