There's just as many sources claiming to have inside word from Forrest's camp that leaving the ring had nothing to do with injuries as there are sources claiming it was injury related. So how about waiting for an official statement from Forrest or Dana on the subject? Until then you're equally as fucking clueless as anyone else....
Why run from the ring to you changing room to check out your busted jaw when there are doctors ringside and paramedics waiting? If it was a serious concern for injury they would have
actually checked him out asap.
The injury angle does make for a nice coverup story, for an emotional fighter who was too embarrassed to say anything in front of millions and millions of viewers after just being made look like a fool in the ring, but I'm not buying it. I can completely understand and sympathize with him running out for these reasons, and I still feel that's what it was. Regardless of what is being said by either side...
it would be interesting to see what Forrest or at very least Dana has to say about it all...
