I've never made much money in adult. It's been more of a side business for me, to supplement my mainstream work. It would be nice if I could make more money from this industry, but as it is riddled by so many scumbags who cannot work together, it is unlikely things will be getting much better in the near future.

On the other hand, if adult WAS my main business, and I WAS a big player in this industry, I couldn't imagine allowing the thieves and fuckers who are stealing content and giving away all of what I had been PAYING for, WORKING for, and RISKING so much for, to be allowed to get away with it!

Can you imagine spending millions in content, and then find out someone else is taking that content and using it to make the profits that YOU funded, and that YOU worked hard for, and that YOU risked so much for?

I really just don't get it! If someone steals a few hundred dollars from me, oh well... but if someone stole MILLIONS from me, in the form of blatent theft and shady bullshit, heads would fucking roll!

It is clear that there are no real tough guys in adult, just an endless supply of self-destructive idiots!

If they are a multi million dollar company I am sure they have tons of employees working for them, probably many outsourced in thirld world countries. Do you really think each of these employees knows who Raven Riley is? The purpose of an ex girlfriend site is to collect user submitted pictures from forums etc. not to have it produced professionally. If someone uploads a Reven Riley picture on a forum and pretends it's his girlfriend, it can end up on these sites easily.

As someone who deals with a lot of clients providing me with content to be used, designers dont usually "collect" pictures. My clients provide me with zips o content and it is not my job to verify they are using them legally, I use what is provided and design the ads they want. You cannot blame a designer in these instances, we use what we are provided. Just like no one will blame the companies designing tube sites that end up using illegal pics, its the tube site owners responsibility to use legal content not the designer.

I do a lot of dating ads and theres no way I have knowledge of the legality of the content.

Seems crazy for such a successful company to take photos they have no rights to to build a tour or a site with. They already spend a fortune filming exclusive content, why not have some photographers shoot amateur pics and do it legitimately? I have been shooting some gf-style content with most of the amateur girls I have coming through my place every week, and it has worked out pretty well for me and my clients. I use a small handheld still camera and also get the girls to take self-shot pics to make it look real. This way the companies have full 2257 and no problems. Here's a few pics with one of the girls I shot recently. If anyone wants a package deal on exclusive or non-exclusive amateur, girlfriend or self-shot style content hit a photographer like me up, there's no need to rip people off.

wrong, the point of an EXGF site is to make it as realistic looking without stealing content from other sites (mine is in there) and to use only content that is for sure of girls over the age of 18 (there's don't) and get consent forms to use it.

Every EXGF site you are describing is illegal, and there are open police inquiries into many of them now, by using their promo content, you just end up with an illegal site too.

There is no way to legally troll the net and "collect" content to put up on your own site.

Honestly Mutt... I feel your pain. A good portion of my content is ripped on these girlfriend sites pretty frequently, mainly because I shoot a lot of unknown girls in a very unprofessional type of setting. My content is very homemade amateurish.

With that being said, I truly feel we're fighting a losing battle. No one really cares about this issue... besides the photographer/copyright holder of the actual image. It's not an industry threat so most people just don't give a shit because the niche is hot right now and making people money supposedly.

Part of me just wants to steal their entire tour designs and content and put up my own version of their sites, but stealing already stolen content isn't the right thing to do. Aside from hunting them down or hiring someone in their town to kick their asses, I don't know what to do.

Sure, I send DMCA notices when I find my stuff... but for every 5 pictures I find on a free gallery, there's probably 25 floating around elsewhere. I don't have the time to surf the entire internet looking for my shit being used illegally... and that's where they have us over a barrel.
