i have been having the same problems with the 'premium account' stuff, I can't blacklist or email anyone any more

The worst thing in the whole story (and the irony) is that in fact you CAN blacklist a guy with paid account, but firstly you have to add him as a friend, and then you're able to send mails and generally interact with his account...

Another reasons why I dumped Thunderball a while back.... man enjoy the headaches guys...

Managing your own trades might seem like a pain in the ass... but you have FULL CONTROL... that is.. if you like having control.

Your attitude, along with peeperpimp's lack of ability to answer simple questions are the biggest reason your service is shit.

It's not a Problem... its a Function he cant use because hes not a Paid Member. So there is nothing to fix and you have absolutely no ground to stand on with that statement.

Why should we support people that don't support us?? and have to Chase around threads like this in which it is a USER Problem... Not A System Problem?. If you can't afford $12 a month... your nothing and nobody anyway... that's just FACT.

The number is actually 85 out of about 200 daily... so thats about 42%... and thats the 42% of Webmasters that are ACTUALLY Productive... getting things done... and not even looking at threads like this.

Since we started Paid Membership... traffic is only down about 10%... Thats IT.!! Only about 1-3 of those paid members have an issue each week and it usually just routine support. So that leave 80+ people are happy with their accounts and don't say a word.

With that said you dont have a fuckin clue... so I'll tell you in plain terms -- it means over 200 People a Day Disagree with YOU when you say "your service is shit"... and 85 of them disagree so much that they Pay to be Members!


And while we're talking numbers... you've been a member here at GFY for 5 years and your post count is over 16,000!!!

Averaging over 9 posts per day(probably 11-14 if we count days you would have taken off)... and ASSUMING you read the context of a thread and post put actual thought into your posts - let's give you a genius IQ of 140+ and say it takes you only 4 minutes read an entire thread and make a GOOD Post/Response(opposed to just talking shit).

This would mean that you spend NO Less than 36 minutes a day posting in the forums... we can safely add 10 minutes for threads you dont reply in (unless your just a sig whore)... now we are at 46 minutes. Add just 1 other forum to your day which I'm sure you run your mouth at as well... and you are spending No Less than 1 hour a day in the forums on average.

EVEN BIG MONEY PEOPLE Don't Consistantly waste over an hour a day in the forums... and especially not on threads like this.

For anyone STILL trying to Figure This Out...

Only Paid Members can Block Other Members.

If you're not a Paid Member - You Can NOT Block, Blacklist or email other users.

The Reason for this is because MASS SPAM Link Requests and email SPAM from people like the person you are wanting to block here... were all over the system and annoying the fuck out of the Real/More Experienced Traders.

Spammers and Noobs Rarely pay for Anything and so FREE Stuff has become synonymous SPAMMERS and Noobs. They use free domain hosts, free hosting, free email, free EVERYTHING because they lack Money, Vision or Both.

The main spill over was coming from thumblogger (a very large free domain host). Complaints were so bad we finally just banned them. Traffic at TBN went down about 10% and no one has said shit about it since except to say that they are glad they are gone.

Originally we never wanted to charge anything for TBN. But I came to the conclusion that we needed some type of solid deterrent from Spammers and a way to keep the noobs off the radar of the more Experienced Traders.

$12 a month is not much for something that saves you HOURS Each Day. If priced any lower... spammers would pay and Spam anyway. Even at $12 a spammer might pay so we put it to 3 months up front.

But This post is proof that annoying users will still pay and SPAM.... but as a Paid Member you can Block them from Your account.

You can still use TBN for free... but your going to be in that Pool of Free Accounts which is mostly Noobs that don't have much to trade with anyway. If you/they make it in the BIZ.... you can join the rest of us in the Paid Members Pool where the Bitches are at
