First, people thought Religion was going to unite the world. Millions of dead "heretics" and/or "infidels" later--FAIL.

Then some assclown says it was CLASS that was gonna unite the world. Millions of dead peasants and workers later--FAIL.

Then some "nationalists" said it was CULTURE that was gonna unite the world (unified in the sense that everyone clusters around their own culture)--even greater FAIL.

Lesson, boys and girls? Fuck UNITY as a goal. If anything, unity is a process. Leave it at that. The only thing that unites people are GREED and self-interest. And we all know what economic system works best for that, right?
