Yup there's still a dozen TGP2s you can submit to as well as 3 TGP2 pools (where dozens of TGP2 sites get their galleries) that accept submissions.

haha tgp2 was a little, tiny, insignificant flash in the pan. It was a good idea in theory but without everyone adopting it as a standard it was doomed to failure.

The idea was to give away less free content, especially hardcore. It was great, but noone of the big guys wanted to change their sites because their bookmarkers are their assets. So, everyone is still waiting for some brave webmasters who risk their income to make this awsome idea industry standard...which will never happen.

Sacrificing yourself for the wellbeing of others isn't something reasonable in a business with alot of competition.

yeah you always get the naysayers when ya bring up TGP2..

I did a lot of TGP2 galleries 2-3 years ago..and I still submit some to the gallery pools every cpl weeks, I mainly do community sites now but TGP2 galleries are a decent source of traffic and if you build the galleries as you are supposed to, relying on text ads, pics on HTML pages and put ads that utilize keywords you will get picked up by the SE's.
I still get SE traffic from TGP2 galleries every day from pages I built 2-3 years ago.

Give it a shot, see for yourself and really if you put some thought into how you build the pages you can easily use those as templates to build reg TGP galleries and even free sites.

You can create a 5 pic gallery and post it to the tgp2s and then you can use it for your blog.

I remember it being mildly popular in 2002-2003. It would be a good idea if everyone would agree to stick to it.
