    Just back from GI Joe ... (no spoilers)

    Just came back from watching GI Joe with Pancake. She gave it a 7/10, but liked Harry Potter
    much more. I give it a 5/10. The climax was special effects overkill and some of the CGI effects didn't gel with the movie.

    The story was weak. There's a half-assed setup for a sequel.


    Oh and judging by the opening night audience, Ladyboys LOVE GI Joe too.

                                  ive also seen the trailer, and once again its another stupid cgi childish ass superhero style movie. Scratched off the list to see... if they wouldve made it a normal warfare movie with a bit of realism id see it.... but they, ofcourse, fucked it up and went the overdone cgi bullshit unrealistic transformer route looking at the trailers.

                                      They could have done this cool, sort of how they remade Bond or Batman into a gritty and dark character. A special unit, gets down and dirty in real life situations, with a touch of fantasy to bring some of the characters to life, but they totally blew it. I thought it was worse than it should have been.

                                                  thought it was good. Then again I didn't expect it to be any super performance. Just an action movie based on some toys from my childhood. watch some special effects... cool ninja stuff, stuff blowing up... the end.
