    New here with Questions (Blog) !

    Hi everyone and first off this site rocks. I've been researching the business for quite awhile and think it is time to finally get started. I'm a nub when it comes to the online porn business but not to business nor webdesign etc. After doing my intitial research and from what I'm reading most logical beginning is to start with a blog and signing up with some affiliates (thought about TGP, but a non-automated blog just seems fun)...what do you guys think?

    My second question to you experienced folks is would it be wise to invest in hosting and using wordpress or would you rather use a service like thumblogger or even using an affiliates subdomain ?

      I would absolutely start with a blog. You (generally speaking) will see higher productivity than you would with a TGP, and best of all you have a broad range of creativity both cropping thumbnails and writing copy. With a TGP you simply input images - borrrring. Blogs are also better for SEO purposes and you'll see a lot more search engine traffic than you would with a TGP.

      As for the service question, go with your own domain and hosting. WordPress is free, domain is $15, and hosting plans start from $7/mo - a yearly commitment of about $100 for everything. You have MUCH more freedom and there's always room for expansion with your own hosting - adding a TGP, hosting galleries, etc.

                                      Hey guys thanks for the info and support. I am looking to make it a sweet site (background in graphics and a writing degree will definately help). I'm still a super nub at this but will be getting some new affiliates soon and posting like a mad mofo!

                                      Quick question for the sexperts...

                                      Domain name: Do you guys think a sex/adult name like FuckherassBlog (or something similar) is better then a "normal" blog name, I'm not sure yet but was thinking a generic name like BobsPornBlog or something would create more loyalty because it's more "realistic"? Let me know if I'm accurate on this??

                                              I would try simply to find good domain that fits my needs (niche etc), with right keywords in it, short and easy to remember. Welcome on the board and goodluck!

                                                  Hey thanks man, my original thinking about the example of a generic one is maybe just a general one with some superb blogging in hopes wouldn't deter visitors from knowing its an affiliated focused blog site, I'm pretty much torn between one direction to another but definately am also considering going niche..I know I can always create more blogs just want to do it right and long-term hence the dilema
