I provide goods and services to adult and mainstream webmasters. I have my own program. The only time I have sent sales to others is when I dabbled with my blogs. It was for fun and experimentation. I may have made 5 blog entries about AFF, and one or two about SexSearch. Neither of them are programs that my bank account would notice if they disappeared today.

I mentioned this to Lars weeks ago. He said that it would be too expensive and be a waste of time to sue them but that he would pass it along to his legal staff. If this is the same guys who wrote their statement about zango then I don't have much faith in them. I would fire the person who wrote that letter. crap.
AFF knows they can sue 180solutions, i sent him Gator cases from a couple years ago where Gator was sued for the exact same thing and settled. It is an open shut case.

As more and more spyware infects computers, more and more sales will be lost to your customers. At some point, their profit will be eaten away to the point they go out of business. We are not close to that point yet as zango only takes about 1 - 2% of people's traffic but that is just them. They are gaining groud everyday. If this keeps up spyware could be taking 30 - 50% of your sales in the future. If you don't think this affects you, then you are a fool.
I don't understand how you have no biased opinions or affiliations here but yet you are 100% on the opposite side of the issue with this?

More likely, others who hold trademarks might just be waiting until someone does it first...to see what the result fo that is. I just hope everyone remembers when its all said and done who the FIRST was and don't all bandwagon hop

There are plenty of professional ways Lars could deal with this and other unethical areas of this industry. But every time such an issue arises, he chooses not to. Draw your own conclusions as to what this says about him.

Just because you are too dumb to see that what I am saying has already been said by AFF and Zango themselves, doesn;t mean they are dumb to this fact. I am sure their attorney can see that what I am saying is not only fact but was admitted by both parties. They may not like the word I use "Stealing" and they may prefer to stick with "unavoidable collisions" .
When something is unavoidable that means they had no choice. AFF could have not participated in the adware buying then there would have been no collisions to avoid.
Let me explain it in terms that you can understand.

Awesome to hear. When a company that makes 100+ MILLION a year tells you it is too expensive to protect their trademark you know they are full of shit. That is what they have a team of attornies for. So it cost you a day's worth of profit to clear your name, do the right thing, and stop a company from infringing on your trademark..... too expensive. I guess when you are greedy you would rather be dirty and make a few dollars more and certainly wouldn't want to spend money unless you absolutly had too.Too expensive ?
