A lot of the cars posted in this thread are not turbo or AWD.

Here is my Subaru WRX - lots of mods, very quick and handles extremely well.

A quick search of this forum for "Subaru WRX" results in a thread were LA Mike is talking about selling his ASTON MARTIN DB 7, after a Subaru WRX worked him at a track. FYI, he ended up going with the new Mitsubishi Evo. Personally, I don't like the new WRX or Evo as much.

Subaru's AWD drive system is superior most other makes, because of the symmetrical drive train layout. Here is a good comparison of some AWD systems available in a few of todays AWD cars:
